I only get to one or two TNRs during the road racing season so my motto is "go big or go home...on a stretcher". Here's my idea: Mount Spokane.
We've got the daylight, we've got the warm weather, and I've got free beer for everyone who shows. It's my little way of saying "thank you" for all the other times you've given me free beer, food, rides, etc.
(And by the way, yes, I'll need someone to porter me and my bike. For free, of course...)

Well then, I'll make sure that you (my free beer ticket) gets to the ride safely.....The only problem is that no one else brought warm clothing tonight so maybe a different location?

Spokane on a stretcher before I was riding up the trail from the bottom and got TKO'ed by a downhiller who'd outrun his brakes. That was the end of one custom-built Waterford Paramount, and my left shoulder has never fully recovered. The concussion left me in a fog for about a week.

That was an epic TNR. If my HRM's calorie counter is correct, I can now eat, like, an entire gallon of ice cream. And I'm OK with that

And I'm OK with that I can't believe you're home already! 70 miles of mountain biking enough for you on a Tuesday night? Here are some pics. My card filled up before the good part of the ride but oh well: starting up the hill: Leaping the log cross style: Craig show's how it's done: Not sure what's going on here:

My Stumpjumper is equipped with a warp drive Yeah, that was the longest ride I've done this year, hour-wise, and my back was aching pretty badly at some points. Was anyone keeping track of how many log crossings we did? Seemed like a couple dozen!
