I want to thank all the folks who made this happen, both racers and hosts/volunteers alike. C/B was quite the event!
What a day!

If anyone is interested in sharing i'd love to hear how it went for the SRV guys. Gotta love/hate that climb I raced in the Mountain Bike With A Large Broom Strapped To It category. We started at about 3:15PM (well, actually it was just me). This category only does one lap, we don't have to do the extra six miles to the usual Finish line. My lap time was about 2:20 and I scored about six patches of broken glass, plus two gravelly corners and a few sizeable rocks Having soundly defeated all zero of my competitors, I was allowed to hold the STOP / SLOW sign for the whole evening! ;D I heard the A pack had a 4-man break at the turn onto Wood Road, and someone bridged up to make it five, and that Royce picked up third in the sprint, nice job!

Tom, thanks for the sweep! Oh and it was a solo break for about 6 miles and it was a four rider (including Royce) chase that bridged up to make it five. Good race... good group! Finally, I speak for MANY riders in the A - pack... we want you back on the course and if there's a way we can help get that done, just let me know. Joel

You are definitely the fastest guy-with-a-shop-broom-on-a-mountain bike that I know of. Certainly in WA State, and maybe in the entire USA. Who knows. When are the mountain biking with a shop broom Championships?
