Last road race of 2009, Best of the Bunch! The staging location has changed from last year. Stage at Selnave Park, Cheney , just like the other Tuesday night races this year. The course will be the same as last year; The Chicken Farm. Following the race, free pizza and the annual awards from Baddlands at Gato's Pizza. Hope to see everyone out there

I'm in.
Riding from Whitworth at 3:45 p.m., stopping by Taylor Pilant's house in Brown's Addition around 4:15, arriving at Salnave Park at around 5:15 ready to race (and eat pizza afterwards).
We can give up to three more riders a drive home, as my wife will be coming out with the Saturn and roof rack.
See you there!
Alan

Great riding tonight from SRV - Eric Ross took the win for SRV in the C pack with an impressive breakaway, and the B-pack had a strong showing of SRV riders with Don, Ron, Sean, Monte, Eric A, and myself. I lost contact with the lead group (and the group behind that, and the group behind that) but last I saw, Eric was making it clear he was at home in the B's. Good ride Eric. Not sure how things went in the A's? Oh and Sean, your kids win for the cutest cheering spectators on the course, hands down, no contest

Thanks Tim- I'll pass on the news of the award to my wife. It sure did help me find a second wind up that hill when they were cheering me on...
...all I need now is an SRV jersey for next year and I'll be legit.

Thanks to all!
That was a cool intro ride with the B's and I look forward to next season. The B's definitely have a different personality.
The second lap breakaway was appropriately timed. As we rounded the apex at Andrus to Spotted Road. I think the pack's collective thoughts were either "Huh?", "I don't feel like it", or "We'll catch them in the hills". Not so, the lead four opened the gap steadily. I was thinking that if I launched myself off the hill at fish lake and tucked in tight, I might be able to bridge. My bridging effort worked, but I wasn't able to hang on and the chase eventually caught me. ...Nuts.
I'm looking forward to next seasons tactical play and also to having other SRV racers to ride with! (As opposed to the Cs). I'm glad Eric Ross is with us although I think it won't be long before the race officials bump him to the "A" pack.
Note to the new training plan: "Move lactate threshold waaaayy to the right"
See you all on Saturday! ;D
