Okay, sorry, sorry..couldn't resist the tittle...Here's some photos from the Urban ride in Seattle on Halloween. We didn't stay out too late because we were tired. But we did get to do some people watching and soak up some good Seattle culture: We left the hotel and headed for the waterfront. The weather was perfect. We followed Alaska Way north to Elliot Bay Park: We stopped by Sculpture Park (must dismount) We got hungry so we headed back into downtown. The new bikelanes are bad ass. It's clear the cyclists get the whole lane... no questions asked: We found a good eatery, The Flying Fish: Their chocolate cake almost came close to the DRG's chocolate cake, but not quite: Back on the streets and back to the hotel:

Cool post Mtn. Mike. Great food, great weather, and great company. We even made it to a WSBA meeting and advocated to put SRV races on the calender for 2010. ;D PS Found out from my Dr yesterday that I was clenching my teeth through the weekend bc I have a herniated disc. Geez, is it contagious or something? Same diagnosis Mike had a month or so ago. Think maybe when your back hurts you should listen to it and not go urban riding-- even if it is your favorite kind of riding. Cities aren't going nowhere.

Mike and Sarah: 1) I don't believe you were actually in Seattle. The pictures show weather that's too nice for the rain-soaked town. Where were you reallly? 2) The dessert looks great. Did you bring me back any as I requested? 3) Sorry to hear about your back Sarah. As one who knows back pain personally, having a herniated disc is really a pain in the ...wait for it... back! Hah!
