At the 24 Hours Round the Clock race this weekend, Team Spokane Rocket Velo not only came out on top for the 4-man Open category, but also came out on top overall. 25 laps at 15 miles each, and we beat Team WAR, a 7-man Corporate Team, by 33 minutes overall!! Yes!!
It takes a lot of effort to do what we did, and it takes great athleticism and organization.
I would like to personally thanks my team-mates, Shawn Letson, Chris Kelsey, and Eric Anderson for some outstanding racing this weekend. It takes guts to get up every 3 hours or so and go race for 15 miles.
I would also like to thank our Team Captain and Manager, LuAnn. She kept us all on the ball and that helps as much as any of our athleticism.
Also, A huge thanks to my Dad, Mark Cesal, for coming out and being our Team Mechanic in the interim while we waited for our official Team Mechanic, Richard Belson.
And a Thanks to Richard Belson, for working all day at the shop, then coming to the race and working all night and then most of the day Sunday keeping all of our bike clean and fresh and ready to race!

Major congratulations guys!!
I was out riding the roads of upstate NY (in what I've come to call the Jungle there's so much vegetation you can't see 100 yards) yesterday and I wondered if you guys were racing the 24hr, so I was very happy to see that you kicked some butt...
Kinda missed standing in the cold, drinking a beer listening to Janusz clap in front of his face...
Now go get some sleep!
Take care you guys, Scott Holz.

Also A big kudos to Mike Sirott who placed #1 in his category (corporate teams) at the 24 hour race. His team took 2nd place overall out of 117 teams! Awesome job Mike ;D
