Due to questionable weather, we are going to do a Mountain Bike / Cross Bike ride Saturday. We will start at Albertson's parking lot on 57th and Regal on the South Hill at 10am and head out on the Palouse Highway, turn onto Valley Chapel Rd., then turn onto Elder Rd, then left on Harris, and eventually end up on Big Rock Rd. for the final leg. 25 to 30 miles of some pretty hefty climbing. The road is in excellent condition but do not bring a road bike. Last one rests least... Where: Albertson's at 57th and Regal Time: 10am sharp!!! Distance: 25 to 30 miles Terrain: Rolling to between 15% Conditions: 45% Paved, 55% Gravel (graded and packed)

Dale, you must have me confused with someone who is in shape. The only thing I'll be towing up any hills is my own extra baggage. The best I can offer you is some of my geritol.

You bring the Geritol...I'll take care of the Depends...
There will be those of us having breakfast at the Chalet on 29th and Grand Ave at 8:30 am tomorrow before the ride. The more the merrier.

Thanks for the pics Pat. I, like you, try to see hills as my friend only after I get home, take a shower, and get laid back. As far as my trainer goes, I'm still looking for it. Truth is, I would rather put my typical 6 layers of clothes on, look like the Michelin Man, and go ride in 32 degree air for 3 hours than spend 15 minutes on an indoor trainer. Like you said yesterday going up one of the hills..."I'm conviced this is going to help me!?!"
