If you guys haven't checked over your tires already, it couldn't hurt to examine them closely for embedded glass and whatnot. Seems like I'm picking glass out of my tires' tread on a weekly basis on my road-training/commuting bike.

Tires are aired up, no glass, and drivetrain is clean. Bike is sort of clean. Mind is ready, legs so so, race bag is packed, car is loaded up, and alarm is set for 6AM.

It was exciting to watch. I hope I wasn't too obnoxious with the cow bell... ;D Thankfully, the weather was great, and I see there's more good weather coming this week... The season has arrived!

On behalf of Baddland Cycling Club I would like to thank ALL the SRVer's that came out to volunteer, race and support racing in Spokane. We couldn't and wouldn't do it without you.
I look forward to seeing you all "out on the road" (since it looks like the MTB is getting put away for now) and look forward to a fantastic year of racing in Spokane.
Thanks again, Ken

Alex Renner/Pegasus Media Group group sent me this photo of the cat4/5 sprint: Which I cropped to get this image with Goode on the front: And this one of Jeff tangling with the cones : Alex remarked, "unbelievable" and that "he saved it". Nice shots Alex! And nice save Jeff. If anyone reposts Alex's pictures, make sure to credit Pegasus Media Group.

Check out the handlebars and front wheel of the rider just behind Jeff, the guy hitting the cones. Note that the right side of the handlebars is on Jeff's right side, but the front wheel is on the left side of Jeff's rear wheel!
I'm certainly impressed that Jeff stayed upright after riding over a cone, but I have no idea the second guy managed to turn his bike into an origami project!
