Kenny, That design is sweet! If I may, what program are you fellas using to do these designs? I've got a concept drawn up, but have not applied it to the template yet. I use a few depending on what I'm doing. Most design's and all concept work is done in Corel. This is what I learned on so it's easiest for me. If I'm adding stuff I use Photoshop for effects to the shapes created in Corel. The new pixel images are returned to Corel and placed inside the vectored shapes. Additionally, for this vendor I used Illustrator to open/save the template. My older version of Corel does not like to open newer PDF's...I'll have to update my Corel one of these days. Ken

Kenny's second entry: very spiderman like, makes me think I should work on my abs, would go well with black shorts. One should ask would I buy it if I was not a club member?, and the answer is yes, nice job!

Regarding the shorts, I beleive that an entire matching kit will be created, it's just that in the interest of simplicity and/or time the design contest revolves around the jersey itself. The rest of the kit will be addressed later once the design is finalized. Dale please correct me or clarify? Although now that I think about it, I guess it's perhaps a moot point for some, as it doesnt negate the idea that those who have jerseys only still will likely have black shorts.

Here's my submittal. My friend helped put this into vector format. Hope this fits the bill and finds favor with a few of you!

Just a thought. I don't have the software to do this right.

Coolness. I'll see if I can re-create this for you on the official form in illustrator format before the deadline Sunday. Credit for the design would of course go to you, I just think it deserves to be among the choices.

As a board member, I am making myself ineligible for the contest but I'll try to throw ideas out there.

Yeastman, here's a couple more. Maybe you can make something out of these...some variation? I don't know...me, I'm autistic...not artistic. I think we will most likely etend the deadline a couple of weeks. I'll talk to the other board members.

Some good inspiration there indeed, i'll see what I can whip up. In regards to the deadline, personally i'm still fine with it being Sunday, it should be adequate time to even make a few more designs from some of your suggestions. Have to say that i'm rather looking forward to the new kit, as i'm sure are many. Somehow borrowing a jersey on Tuesday nights seems to take away a bit of the 'glamour' of the race

This design is done in vector format and set up to do all separations for the silkscreening process. I thought that since the kit is being updated, the rocket should be too. The line down the middle is the seam from the jersey template zipper. Enjoy!

Thanks to each of you who have submitted to this endeavor. 1. I currently have some serious computer issues that need to be dealt with this week. They will either get fixed or I'll just have to buy a new station. 2. I'll be getting together with board members this week for the next step. 3. Feel free to keep on sending in design concepts this week if you so desire. We'll proceed to the voting shortly and will notify everyone of this. For now, keep an eye on this forum for an announcement to SEND your concepts to an email address forthcoming (as soon as I have a working station). Send to daleperinger@spokanerocketvelo.com your phone numbers and email addresses so I can contact each of you. IMPORTANT!!! We need a count on who needs jerseys and / or shorts and the number of each for each person. Send an email to daleperinger@spokanerocketvelo.com with your desires.

OK, I learned last night, that after several hours of surgery, my computer was placed in CCU (Critical Care Unit) for recovery until tonight. Apparently, when a window pops up stating that C:\windows\system32 file is corrupt and unreadable, this is considered a life and death situation. Barring any unforeseen complications, I should be up and running again by late tonight. For those who have designs and have NOT yet done so, email them to daleperinger@spokanerocketvelo.com . We will then get the designs put together for the club to vote on. Once we have a unanamous decision, we will quickly proceed to the next phase which is getting the designs work to Borah along with orders. IF YOU WANT A KIT, WE NEED TO KNOW NOW, FOR WHO AND FOR WHAT ITEMS (JERSEY/SHORTS) . We need preliminary numbers to provide to Borah. If you miss this summer's order, you may order again in December when we make our regular club order. There will be ONLY ONE summer order allowed. You snooze you lose. We will worry about size in the next couple of weeks. What we need NOW are numbers of Jerseys and numbers of shorts needed for this initial order. You should also be aware that sponsors will change for the 2010 - 2012 season. This will mean a change on the kits in December. Stay tuned for the vote in the next 7 days.

If you can't get it on its feet in short order, let me know and I'll lend you one of mine, since I have a spare that doesn't get much action these days.
