How would you like to be one of the first to have a FREE NEW SRV 2010-2011 Kit? What’s the catch you ask? Well, not much really. The board members of SRV are holding a "SRV Kit Design Contest" and all we ask is that you submit a NEW design(s) for the kit, Jersey and Shorts both. Your submitted design(s) will be voted upon by club members, and if you have the winning design, the SRV board members will present to you a New SRV Kit, Jersey and Shorts.
Spokane Rocket Velo is a club defined by its “participating” members and is compelled go in the direction that “active” members drive it. We, on the board, acknowledge we have some very gifted members and we need your help in designing the new Kits. Let your imaginations and skills run amok but by all means, let’s get some designs submitted that are not only highly professional and race oriented, but a Kit Lance Armstrong and yourself would be proud to don on a Pro Tour.
Things to keep in mind:
We also need a person who is gifted with Vector Artwork and has the software, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Freehand or Corel Draw that can take the winning design and create Vector Artwork to submit to the manufacturer. Photoshop will not work for this purpose! If you are good at this type of work and would be willing to give some time to the club in terms of creating the artwork, you too will be provided a free, newly designed, SRV Kit which includes a Jersey and Shorts. If you are also the winner of a design you submit, we will provide you two kits! Contact daleperinger@spokanerocketvelo.com for details regarding manufacturer requirements.
You are allowed to use any resource available to you (within legal boundaries of course)
Have fun and we’ll be looking forward to receiving your winning design.

Things to keep in mind:
- All submissions must be presented on Kit Templates - www.customsublimation.com/index.asp?pageID=miscellaneous&btnSubmit=ByFileCategoryID&cboFileCategoryID=1171
- At this time, we will not restrict color usage. Be creative and if your design wins club members over, please be aware colors could change due to manufacture limitations, club member desires, sponsor obligations, or any number of other factors.
- Do not concern yourself with sponsor logos for current design purposes as this will change as new sponsors are obtained. We are looking for Jersey designs without logo placement.
When designing the Jersey, design for the long sleeve Jersey. This will allow us to design for Short Sleeve Jerseys, Arm Warmers, and Jackets but remember that design must fit Short Sleeve Jersey sleeve. Refer to your current kit for flow pattern if need be. - Be sure that colors and patterns are somewhat matching. In other words, don’t create a Red Polka Dot Jersey and couple it with a Blue Striped Short
- Contact Dale Peringer @ daleperinger@spokanerocketvelo.com when you are ready to submit your designs…submit as many designs as you like!!!
- Have submissions in no later than 5:00pm, Sunday night, May 24, 2009
