Jerry Pfeiffer will lead a ride out of the North Division Bike Shop this Saturday. The ride will leave promptly at 9:00am. Jerry just informed me that he is classifying this ride as "An Epicurian Delight"!! This ride will take us through some beautiful country from Spokane to Blanchard, Idaho, then on to Newport. From Newport, past Sacheen Lake and Eloika Lake to Deer Park and back home. No doubt there will be stops at the now famous bakery in Deer Park, and most likely an ice cream stop at Blanchard. When: Saturday, May 16 Time: Leave at 9:00 sharp from NDBSMap: www.spokanerocketvelo.com-a.googlepages.com/Spokane_Blanchard_Newport_DeerPark_1.jpgMileage: Variable from 30 to 118 miles (how far do YOU want to go?) Regroups: Occasional Terrain: Varied rolling to the Blanchard Pass Average Speed: Moderate (16-17 mph average) Food Stops: Yes

I will be there! I'm looking at doing around 60 miles. Anyone looking for a similar distance? 80 might be possible, but I have places to be in the aftenoon. We are moving on the 29th. We may spend that weekend with my parents in Mead, but must be in Tucson, AZ by the 2nd of June. We close on our house there (Vail, AZ) on June 3rd.

You bet! We have 3 extra bedrooms and some really amazing riding right outside our front door. From wide open roads to one way loops in National Forests. Then we can head to Tucson for a ride up Oracle or go up to the top of Mount Lemmon(9187ft). Lance trained on this highway. It will be great. I will give our address at a later date. We have not closed on the house yet and I'll wait until we do:) It's still scheduled for June 3rd.

There is a classic Saturday ride in Tucson that I read about in a magazine. Sounds like a real hammer fest! Dale, now that I know what Epicurean means(calories in = calories out). I'm sorry I will miss the ride I get to work all day long. Fantastic!

I’m busy all Saturday morning so I can’t make the 9:00 am ride. I would like to do an afternoon ride if anyone is interested… Say around 4:00 pm Ron

Sounds like a good time. Sorry to have to miss it. I'll be in Wenatchee this weekend, riding while Alan races.
