Sorry you missed the ride, Lonnie. Despite my best efforts to convince them to go another direction, Mike and Sarah bought some 10% beer and swung by and picked me up. We ended up drinking in a public space and doing off-the-bike wheelies. They even have a term for these kind of outings: "Martini time." I know . . . it doesn't make a lot of sense. But it is catchy.

I think these guys would make a big splash at Oktoberfest. I know there's a lot of logistics involved in bringing a crew like this to a residential neighborhood, but you did manage to successfully run a state championship race through a rural section of Spokane county. Just throwing it out there. Maybe you already have them lined up.
