This is an important message that comes to us by email from Alex Renner of Baddlands: Hi all, Although I am sure all of you have heard the name Cooper Jones by his association with our races, I am sure that the only ones who really know "who he was" were those of us that were in the club 10 years ago (1997). It seems like a long time ago, it seems like only yesterday. Please read the attached Doc file to find out just a little bit more and see why we have honored him by making our races "Cooper Jones Memorial Races". Cooper was a junior racer and member of our club, he was hit from behind June 24th while racing in our Twilight Series Time Trial on 904....he died July 2nd. This letter was written 10 years ago to then governor Gary Locke by Cooper's parents, David and Martha Jones. David and Martha sponsor our club through the Cooper Jones Foundation. They are also responsible for something you probably see every day... the STA Share The Road Bus.Cooper JonesAttachments:
