Once again, keep your schedule open on Saturday and we'll ride when we get a break in the weather I'd like to check out a new race course out of Cheney, but I'm not sure we can squeeze in that ride between rain drops. Stay tuned.

Hey! Good luck to all on finding a dry period to ride! I have El Tour de Tucson starting at 7am tomorrow morning. I'm doing the 109 mile option. It will be about 45 degrees at 7am and up to low 70's by my planned noon finish. Nothing but sun! Sorry!lol I'll be wearing all SRV gear and they will be taking lots of pictures. I'll post any good ones I can find. I'll be taking some too! There is just short of 10,000 people signed up, so it should be fun. Have a great ride! Rick Williams

Meet with 'cross bikes at 10:00AM at the Elk in Browns Edition. Ride dirt and paved roads. Be there.

I'm not sure if I can get there at 10:00. I have to wait for my wife to get home. I'll see what time it is when she gets back.

Okay , I can't get my act together either. Tony is starting at the Elk at 10:00i sh and meeting me at my place at 10:30AM. So maybe 10:30 from our 'hood will work better for you Ron.

I will keep you posted as the time gets closer. Mike do you have a cell phone yet? Yep, I am back in the modern age. Same number as before. You can also reach me on the 147.38 amateur radio repeater

El Tour de Tucson finished! A bit chilly standing at the start for nearly two hours, but there was almost 5 thousand other people doing the 109 mile option. The shorter routes started other places. The race was a blast! It did take me 6 hours:( Not happy about that, but with all the time off from my foot surgery last month I just was not ready to do it faster. I had only gone 50 miles since the surgery. The weather was nearly perfect, 76 degrees for a high today. Anyone interested in coming down here for some great riding? Attachments:

Anytime Mike. My time would be under 6 hours if we had been able to only ride on the road! The carrying out bikes down the dirt path and across the Sabino Canyon river/wash and the one other place we had to do that slowed things down a bit. Next year I will not be recovering from foot surgery or racing with a torn meniscus in my left knee. I'll be shooting for 5 hours! The weather will be great, so some of you guys should come down and make it an SRV team race. Attachments:
