Quick question from an amatuer...is it necessary to dive into a lower state of sanity to ride lower teen temps or can I partake with my current low levels of sanity and if so, do you use the "No Child Left Behind" rule during sub teen night rides?

We only rode for a little over an hour. The pace was steady, but not too fast. I overdressed and was sweating the whole time. You should come out some time. Bring your lampshade head light.

Want to become a better bike handler?? TNR in the snow is the best way to sharpen handling skills, and pace is steady. The snow provides a moderate workout and forces us to stick to a fairly flat terrain. Most of the time when its this cold out we ride for about an hour or so, lights required and dress warm! ;)Studded tires are optional , most of the riding is on the trail where a standard knobby MTB tire works just fine. Leave no man behind attitude and Belly warming beer enjoyed afterward. ;D
