I'm looking for a good second (or third?) wheelset. What's a good aero wheelset for a 200 lb'r like myself? Looking to burn $500-1000.

Thanks Mark. I've also heard a bit about people upgrading to ceramic bearings...are these any real benefits for regular freds like me, cool to have?, or just plain stupid-wasteful? thanks.

First thing first. Ceramic Bearing will be faster. And yes the benefits are real. Things to consider. COST!!! Careful with the Slowtwitch forum, I've read some very, very interesting thing people have posted. There have been more recent testing with ceramics and they have proven them to be more efficient. Just ultra costly for the gain. ;D

Thanks. Basically the jist of what they're saying is that to get a ceramic that is actually better than the stock bearings, you'd have to pay a lot...so basically don't get a cheap ceramic bearing because you could end up with a worse bearing than the stock steel.

I rode the New Dura-ace wheels and hutchison Tubeless Road tires today, I will be selling my Mavic Ksysrium SL and replacing them with a set of wheels that will run tubeless road. Unreal, I was blown away by the feel of these things. (need I say more)

I had a couple of good rides on the Dura-Ace Road wheels. I like them! The feel of the tubeless tire is GREAT! They are very supple, and roll over the imperfections in the road very nicely. Feel very smooth, yet not like a flat tire where its robbing your energy. The wheels themselves are nice, and really light. There was no weight difference between these and my Bontrager Race X Lites.
The wheels themselves are stiff and roll really well. I noticed the front wheel felt more stable underneath me than my Race X Lite front wheel.
