The Apex rides continue! This month we'll probably start doing the Joel Friel videos with a little more intensity...like hill climbing and sprinting.
We'll be at Apex this Saturday, February 3rd, and next Saturday February 10th.
No ride on February 17th (but coincidentally you can still see Joel Friel himself live in person that day in Spokane!).

Today at Apex we had our biggest group yet. The thought is to continue the Apex training rides through the month of February, with the exception of February the 17th.
Today we did Joel Friel pedaling drills, followed by a cooldown with VH1 Metal Madness. Willigalle and Monte showed us some good feet-only handling techniques (one foot on bar, one foot on pedal), while Ricky gave us an education on the evolution of the Van Halen and David Lee Roth bands. That my friends, you wont get on your living room trainers. If anybody has any bike racing DVDs, feel free to bring them next time.

Saturday 2/10 was another success. No crashes. No nobody got left behind.
Remember, No Apex ride next week on February 17th, but we'll resume on the 24th.

This Saturday I'm going to bring "A Sunday In Hell, Paris-Roubaix"
If everybody's agreeable, I say we watch this instead of Joel Friel ;D

If the weather is crappy tomorrow, March 3rd, we'll have the option of going to Apex to spin. Show up for the ride at 10AM at North Division Bike Shop. Ricky will decide whether we ride inside or out. See you then.
