I'm not really sure what you're supposed to do to train for cyclocross racing, but I can imagine that riding fast and hard on the cross bike for 1-2 hours couldn't hurt my game.
1-2 hour afterwork rides starting this week; ride what ya got, but preferable ride a cross bike. Details TBA.

;D For those of you looking into Cyclocross bikes, We (North Division Bike Shop) just received a full size run of the 2008 Trek XO-1 Cyclocross bikes. ;D Training tips!! Mount and Dis-mount over and over and over and over again!! Don't for get the run and jump!

Probably will go out Thursday night (8/20) and try to find some technique: dismounts, barriers, and run-ups if anyone is interested.
7-mile Airstrip at 6 pm?
