Now that the season is not quite over, but definitely drawing to a close, what are some of your best memories?
A few of mine:
- Riding with Alan at the end of March when he hit 1000 miles for the month - Getting dropped like a rock 10 miles into Frozen Flatlands (I thought I was doing so good!) - Being in my first (and only) 3-man break off the front with Dan G and a Baddlands rider in a Twilight Race (He out-sprinted us at the finish, but it was still way cool). - Seeing my wife at the finish line after riding from Seattle to Portland in one day :-)

Off the cuff: Best Moments of '07- Hitting the 1,000 mile marker for the 1,000-mile March.
- Getting back on the bike after months of being off of it from back surgery, even if it was just a 9-mile ride and I cramped up later that day.
- Surprising myself with a fourth-place finish on a Tuesday night ride. I was just racing to finish without crashing but with the right positioning at the final sprint, you never know what can happen.
Worst Moments of '07- Months of drugs, acupuncture, cortizone shots, and physical therapy doing almost nothing for the back pain.
- Back surgery that kept me off the bike for literally 5 months.
- Not racing the 24 Hour Round and Round race. Next year, boys. Next year.
I'm with Goode: It's the end of the season already?! When did this happen?! All in all the year rates as great:I'm alive and I can ride. I don't need much more than that. Alan
