This is for everyone. The MS 150 is a very important ride for the thousands of people who suffer everyday from the effects of Multiple Sclerosis. We live in an area that has the second highest incidence of MS in the world. I was diagnosed with MS in 1995. I have spent some time in a wheel chair and have other times where I really did not know if I was going to be able to get my MS under control. I have been riding with SRV since 2005. I now can say that cycling is the second biggest part of my treatment. The medication I take every month is still the biggest reason I can do what I do. The MS Society has played a very large part in helping me to manage my MS. The drugs that have become available since after my diagnosis, are amazing. All of the research and development of the current treatments could not have been done without the millions of dollars raised by events like the MS 150. I have already done this ride twice and this year I'm on the committee who is organizing it. I will also be riding in it again this year. I would like to invite everyone to join me in this. I will be leading a corporate team and I have 6 large jerseys and 6 medium jerseys for the team. I will be wearing one at the next Saturday ride. Everyone who does the ride will get the official MS 150 jersey. I will be available for anyone who has questions and will be able to provide all the information for the ride. I look forward to seeing many of you there. If you will not be able to do the ride, please consider helping me with my fund-raising. Thanks, Rick Williams

Rick, Thanks for posting this and the endorsement of the benefits of the fundraising. Do you have any details on the ride. When, where, website, etc?
Thanks! Colin

Colin, The ride is September 23 & 24 and it starts at the CDA Casino on both days. You can go to the website at www.nationalmssociety.org/waiClick on the link for the bike tours. The MS 150 will come up with all information. I'm would like to see SRV get a team together of 3 or more people and I'm going to talk to Alex at Baddlands about the same. I will be leading a team for the drug company that makes my primary medication. The medication is Copaxone and I will be wearing the jersey tomorrow at the club ride. I look forward to talking to you about this ride and hope to see many people join me in making this ride a success this year. Thanks, Rick Williams
