Don't miss this Saturday's ride lead by Steve Jenkins. Steve did a fantastic job of putting this route together in South Spokane. Start with the group and make the ride any mileage you choose from 10 to 100 miles and you are never far from Spokane. I predict this to be a staple route of SRV in the future as it offers something for everyone and I fully suspect 20+ riders on this one! Great job Steve and did I hear you say pizza after the ride? ;D

A wonderful endurance ride (hammering is optional) in a pleasant area including Valley Chappel , the climb up South Hill and High Drive… a real treat is Madison Northbound which is rural and level followed by a nice downhill. The entire route is variable as is the mileage.
This is also a good training route for either Ironman or Tour of Pain as it affords climbing and much riding on roads less traveled… on another day the mileage base can be easily extended.
Lots of places to stop to refill water bottles.
And as is typical with the SRV group… good company!

I underestimated the mileage ... the route was 85 miles (of headwinds). Cool weather today.
Did get some good video... have it up in the next couple days.
Thanks to the 9 riders who showed up.

Somehow I think I like the handlebar mounted view better. Seems more realistic, maybe because you're closer to the ground. Nice job Steve.

Steve, Great job on the cam tech! Look forward to more rides. My playback is somewhat choppy due to bandwidth. Could you .zip the .mpg or .avi to my email? skipper08022000@yahoo.com
Pat S., Thanks for the fast reply, appreciate it!

As your aware high speed connections are necessary to view videos.
