Who will be teaching? Do Rocket Velo Members also have to pay the $10.00?

The training series continues tomorrow night. Come on out for some fun.
Tomorrow 9/11, Shawn Howard will be instructing on the subtleties of the "run-up" in 'cross racing. Sign-up starts at 5:30 and we'll get started at 5:45-6:00pm. Last week we were out until dusk.
Cost is $10 per night, and you'll need a USA Cycling license. Proceeds from the clinic are slated to go toward a local juniors cyclocrosss program.

We had a great clinic last night. Everyone got just a little closer to being race ready for the season. 22 riders and two instructors showed up to work on cornering and sand pit skills.
Special thanks to Vertical Earth, Kevin Parish, and Mark Knokey for helping make it a success.

Tonight, 9/25, will be our last preseason clinic.
We'll focus on putting together all that we've worked on into a race strategy. Mike Geartner and the Vertical Earth crew will be out to instruct the clinic.

Yeah lets make sure someone is doing it. Whether it be the Emde, VE, SRV, or a combination of clubs, the pre-season clinic was a good start to the 'cross season. We'll have to talk to the local teams to see if anyone has something planned.

There's talk within the Baddlands crew of jumping into some cross this year... many of us would be first-timers (especially me!) and likely interested in attending any sort of skill based training sessions.
