Steve Jenkins will be leading this Saturday's ride. Please note that we have changed the ride and the miles as Steve feels that most of us are done with the long rides this year (I know I am). Bring your backpacks to stock up on peaches as we pass the Greenbluff Farms. I'll need someone to haul my box-full of peaches back to the barn. ;D Name: NDBS TO GREENBLUFF - 47.92 MILES RIDE DATE: 20 SEP 08 DAY OF WEEK: Saturday DISTANCE: 47.92 miles PACE: Brisk (16-18 mph) TERRAIN: Some Hills MAP: www.bikely.com/maps/bike-path/Green-Bluff-longREGROUP: Frequent START TIME AM/PM: 0830 START LOCATION: North Division Bike Shop - Back Lot RAIN CANCELS: No RIDE LEADERS: Steve Jenkins DESCRIPTION/ADDITIONAL INFO: (Please keep short/no repeat info) Shorter route... this time of year folks are tired from intense seasonal riding.

I think I'll be there for this one! I'll be bringing up the rear, so anyone looking for company just off the pace, let me know.Rick

Many things happening on the employment front that keeps me somewhat aloof. May be heading to Olympia this weekend and if I can get a ride in Saturday morning, that would fit my schedule. Most likely, I will be there and most likely will hang with you. I am in the mood to enjoy this fall. Tired of hammering out long rides. Time to transition

I got a message on my phone from Steve tonight. His bike is broken and he asked me if I could lead the ride. I will be there and can lead. Niki also plans to join us! Rick

Thanks Rick!
My rear shift cable broke at the housing last night… Scott fixed me up at NDBS and I reverse tracked the course meeting up with the group at about 14 miles in… rode back with them.
We had about 10 riders today. Nice day for a ride with a good group over a pleasant course. And the coffee after the ride was great.
Also, nice to see several new faces in the group!
