This might sound completely nuts, but would anyone be interested in carpooling to Bozeman MT on the weekend of October 11 and 12 (Columbus Day weekend)? There's races on Saturday and Sunday.
That's 800+ miles of driving for 110 minutes of racing, but with two or three racers, the equation starts to look better. I can drive and have plenty of room for bikes and gear. Bozeman is a cool town for apres-race entertainment. Leave Friday night, and if anyone wants to stay until Monday, I'd be game for that too.

Alternatively, there's also races on the West Side that weekend.
Looks like Seatac; Dan's favorite venue.
Leave Saturday AM, race Saturday and Sunday, and return Sunday PM. With 2-3 people, it should be an economical trip. I can drive.

I would hate to come across as totally negative, but South Seatac is no longer ideal for considering the size of the Seattle cross scene.
When you have a ~60 person field (plus other category waves) racing on a course that might be considered 70% single track you need to start from the front and fast. Either way you will working through some group of slower riders forcing passes every time the course widens a little bit. I personally hate to get caught/gapped by riders purely because there was a lapped rider in narrow single track section.
Up until now I hadn't looked at or realized there was a Saturday race, and I have had good and bad experiences with the North Seatac venue which is no longer a Seattle Series venue due to it being too small not enough parking.
Also if you do wander over you are welcome to stay at my house.
